Removing the Disk Cell RTC Battery

  1. Prepare the computer for disassembly and remove the following components:
    1. LED cover
    2. Keyboard 
    3. Optical Drives
    4. Display 
    5. Heat Spreader
  2. Use a flat-bladed tool to remove the RTC battery from the socket in the system board

Installing the Disk Cell RTC Battery

NOTE: When replacing an RTC battery, insert the battery with the "+" sign facing up.
